Tom Wilkinson
Tom Wilkinson, OBE, born December 12, 1948, is an English actor. Natural around Leeds, West Yorkshire, England, he moved with his personal to Canada for several years after he was immature, however returned to England, where he graduated from either a University of Kent.
Wilkinson manufactured his television debut in the mid-1970s and worked on many British television series, first gaining critical acclamation by owning his appearance when Mr Pecksniff, in the BBC's 1994 adaptation of Martin Chuzzlewit. He manufactured merely the occasional picture (including a brief appearance around 1995's Sense and Sensibility, until he hit it big by using a international hit The Full Monty in 1997. That profits was followed higher by Oscar and Lucinda, Wilde, Shakespeare in Love, The Patriot, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Normal, Batman Begins and In the Bedroom, for which he was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Actor.
In the Just released Season's Honours Listings published 31 December 2004 he was created an OBE for services to drama.
